Lena

On the outside, Lena seems quite average with classic Australian Shepard features. Her coat is a mixture light and dark grays along her back, with white along her chest, stomach, and front legs. There are also patches of a rust-colored red around her eyes and face, running down her legs, and on her ears. Her ears are slightly folded over, and she was born with a natural bobbed tail. Like most pox-positives she has a blue arc around her pupil and iris, however, it is hard to notice due to her natural, bright blue eyes. Lena’s body is built for speed with a light build and longer legs that help her move quickly.

Lena is an optimistic dog. While there may be hardship in her life, Lena always tries her best to look on the bright side of life. Not that it is always easy for her to be happy. Life is hard, and Lena’s mind can go to a dark place when there isn’t much food or she is in danger. Life gets her down just like it gets everyone else down. That’s why she looks instead to make others happy. She’s a helper at heart. It makes her feel better to see and make others happy, so whenever she has the chance she will work herself to exhaustion trying to make others happy. To some this can appear nosy or annoying, however it comes from a good place.

Lena has a young soul. In many ways, she never truly grew up. She can be quite hyper, both in mind and body which can lead to her acting foolishly and impulsively. She tends to do and say things without thinking. She commonly is not as cautious as she should be. Along with that, she still has the curiosity of a young dog. One of the reasons she continues to move around the world instead of staying in one spot is that she wishes to see everything, even if that’s impossible. Though again, this curiosity commonly leads her into places that she really shouldn't be.

Lena was born alongside two brothers. She was raised with only her mother, and life seemed good for a while. Her mother was caring and kind to her and her siblings. Lena spent her time play-fighting with her brothers and usually losing, and once she was older her mother taught her how to survive on her own. Around one year old, the three pups ended up leaving their mother to go live their own lives. Lena headed off in her own direction and has been living a life mostly alone since. Years later, she is still just wandering the world.
