Silver | Notes: <3 | Last man standing find yourself a new sensation, Aside from the recent storms and any other natural thing that went on, this place hadn’t changed that much. The building was still standing, most of the machinery was still here and the overall appearance had that lingering darkness to it. To Lorenzo this place was the place to be when you’re half machine, well in other less exaggerated words, a dog with a mechanical spine and bottom jaw. He didn’t quite understand why those parts were necessary and they all equally had their ups and downs. The mechanical spine allowed him to be somewhat more flexible and stronger but it sure as hell was painful when it locked or even needed repair. So far in his four years of experience Lorenzo has only needed his spine fixed once and that was when someone decided to bite down hard onto his back, fortunately for him he returned the favour. His thoughts brought a smile to his face, there was nothing like a good bit of revenge to make you feel better. Only when it was absolutely necessary he felt good about it after but that was not common. As his dark paws hit the dusted concrete ground, small clouds of dust lifted off the solid floor. He trotted into the place where machinery and nature resided together, though it seemed nature had defeated this place much quicker than other places he’d been to. Fully geared out, Lorenzo was travelling alone to this part of the city which is why he was wearing both knives on his front legs and the bandanna around his neck. He was hoping to find some sort of sharp bit of the machinery that he could break off and take away with him. It was about time that his friend needed to learn some close combat skills with a blade in jaw. Stopping in the entrance he lifted his eyes and then his head to listen for any sounds of claws tapping on the ground or anything else scurrying around the place. That quick safety check didn’t last long though, it was a little reckless really. Surely if he bumped into any spot of trouble he could just pull out his knives and be on his way again? After a few minutes of searching he lowered his head to look at a bit of complicated structure that seemed the least affected by the weather. Moving his head forward with his ears flat against his head and opening his jaw, he latched onto the metal bar and pulled back. For a normal dog it would prove to be difficult but thanks to the rust, mechanical spine and jaw he found it a lot easier. After a few more seconds the bar broke off suddenly, causing Lorenzo to stumble back a bit. Though due to him pulling a bit of metal from a frail structure he trotted back a bit more, expecting it to all come collapsing down. Thankfully it didn’t. While his eyes focused on what was in front of him his ears turned to face the direction behind him. Something made a noise and it automatically made him feel a little less safe than he did before. A few seconds of silence nerved him after that noise so he turned his back to the structure to he could hopefully feel a little more defended. baby it's a jungle out there. |
