XOLOTL
The Xolotl group has been around for centuries that dates back to the 13th century. They were founded in Mexico and have lived in secret since, however, after the asteroid the group of worshipers have perished. While the asteroid was responsible for their extinction, this has given the now growing group a chance to thrive from a new start. This time the group, now named Xolotl after the god, has changed to much more extreme ways of worshiping and pleasing their god by holding rituals that include sacrifices of the strong and even involving giving their own blood to show their devotion. Xolotl is what might be seen as a cult which works in the shadows, remaining undetected by the rest of the world.
Xolotl's purpose is to keep the god happy in order for the sun to rise every morning and act as a guide for them in the Underworld after death. To do this, their recruits are put through extreme tasks to show just how loyal and hard working they can be. Despite Xolotl being a cold and dangerous group of canines, they are welcoming to all shapes and sizes.
Keep in mind, although they might be referred to as a pack, they are not built like one. Unlike packs, members are expected to hold their own but stay loyal to the group. Members of the pack are free to roam wherever they please, be it inside or outside the territory.

The last "title" of the ranks. It isn't really much of a title but more of a nickname for those who have been captured for trespassing in the territory, in other words they are slaves. The Ghosts have been given this name because they are not worthy enough to be given a title that is named after the living. They aren't even considered real members of the pack but more as additions. A Ghost can also be permitted to a specific member of the pack to act as a helper, some Ghosts don't even have to be treated as slaves.
