[attr="class","smallinfoboxyakidark"]Ember can be a strict leader. She is quick to reprimand someone when they step out of line or break the rules. This doesn’t mean that she will put serious punishments on canines that break the pack rules, but that she will make sure that they get some sort of punishment and know what the rules are. She doesn’t do this to be mean or harsh or even to hold onto power. She does it because she wants the best for her pack, and she knows that she has to be a strong and confident leader to have a good pack. Her pack is her whole entire life, and while it may not always show on the outside, she cares for each and every member of her pack. All she wishes is that no harm comes to them and that they are all happy. However, this sometimes means she has to be strict with the rule breakers to make sure the safety and integrity of the pack is retained.
Ember is a quiet wolf. Not because she is shy, but because she sees no reason to participate in small talk. She focuses on the larger issues and doesn’t spend her time chatting away with her friends or pack mates. Her mind is nearly entirely focused on her pack, and she thinks very little of her own emotions. She believes that a leader can’t bother themselves or their pack with their own emotions, so she avoids showing emotions at all costs. This can make her seem quite emotionally mute to those around her, which isn’t true. She has many emotions. She just makes sure that she keeps them to herself.

╳ History
[attr="class","smallinfoboxyakidark"]Born into a small family pack, Ember was raised from a young age to be a strong leader by her mother and father. She had aunts and uncles, brothers and sisters, and all of the rest of her family with her to support her in her training to hopefully be the one to take over the pack as the alpha. She trained with her brothers and sisters to be a good fighter and a good hunter. She learned to be ruthless when it came to both battles and ruling, and more than anything she learned that being infected meant that you were a monster. It was her family’s belief that infected canines were monsters that had broken the rules of nature. They considered them to be dangerous and unpredictable and thought that an infected canine’s mind was sick and deranged. Young Ember agreed with her family. She believed their stories and myths, and she carried on their legacy of hate towards pox-positives. Until an infected dog came into their territory when Ember was two years old.
Ember was patrolling the territory with three other members of her pack when an infected dog came into their territory. The dog showed no signs of aggression towards Ember or the rest in the patrol, yet once they saw the teal hue in the dog’s eyes they attacked. The four of them launched towards the dog to kill it, and the dog decided to run. The four wolves chased it into a corner where it couldn’t escape. Desperately, the infected dog realized that its only option was to fight back. So it leapt towards the nearest wolf, Ember, and sunk its teeth into her shoulder. Reacting in pain and anger, Ember quickly lashed out and killed the infected dog. As she turned back to her family, she expected them to be happy that she had killed the infected dog, but instead, they quickly backed away from her as if she was the same as the killed dog. She tried to approach her aunt, and her aunt scrambled back and growled viciously: “Get out infected!” Ember didn’t understand, for she had never been taught that the parasite could be passed through biting. Following their aunt’s words, her brother turned to her with fire in his eyes and launched himself at her. With a burst of speed, the white wolf sprint away from her family, still in shock that they would treat her like that. She kept on running, only stopping once she reached the border. The rest of the patrol hadn’t followed. Ember waited for a few hours at the border, hoping that an explanation would magically appear. Soon enough, her mother and father showed up. She yipped and moved towards them, and both of them lowered down and growled at her. She stopped as she heard the words in her father’s growl: “You have been infected by the bite! Get out! Do not come back into this territory infected. If you come back we will kill you!”
There was no option. Ember had to leave. She turned away and left and never went back. She continued then to wander around the world, coming across many experiences much like the one she had with her family. She met other pox-positives that had similar experiences and felt defeat and lonely. Finally, a thought came to her, she needed to make a place where pox-positives would be welcomed. So she set out to start a pack, The Renegades, that would welcome all infected canines and give them a safe place to call home.
