SUNNY
Female - Young Adult - Bisexual - Layers
Appearance:
Sunny is a standard liver Australian Shepherd. She is small for her age and breed. Her fur is long and fluffy, sticking out in all directions by her face and ears. Her tail is bobbed, pretty much invisible under all her fur. Her ears are big and flopped, usually resting almost flat on her head. When alert, they stand a little taller, creating a wavy arch around her head. She has dark amber eyes with a subtle blue ring around her pupils. Her fur is mostly brown with a white underbelly. She has beige markings on her face, chest, and legs. Two beige dots above her eyes act as makeshift eyebrows, giving her comical expressions. Her legs are short but thin and well-muscled. Her button nose is small and pink.
Personality:
Sunny is possibly the most annoying dog you’ll ever meet. She is loud, hyper, and naïve. Having lived a sheltered life up until now, she really doesn’t have the “survival” attitude down. She is completely dependent on others for survival and has little grasp on the meaning of the word “responsibility” or “work.” That being said, she has no skills. Or at least, she’s never worked hard enough to find out if she has any skills. She has pretty good stamina, but she never uses it for anything other than playing and pestering others. She’s never killed anything before, though she’s not beyond playing with her food.
Sunny could talk your ear off telling boring stories about herself or complaining. Speaking of complain, Sunny loves to complain. Whether it’s too cold, or if her food is rotten, or if her coat is a little wet, etc, etc. All that aside, though, Sunny is a very cheerful and funny dog. She tries to keep the mood upbeat and stay optimistic. Though she is gullible, oblivious, and probably in denial about how much danger she’s in at any given moment, Sunny is a happy dog that lives every moment to its fullest.
History:
Sunny was born into a sheltered and safe life. Her pack was made up of all her family members. Though it was small, they looked out for each other and managed to find a secluded territory where they wouldn’t be found. All the members of the pack were infected and stayed in constant hiding from Rags or anyone else who might try to kill them. They managed to live undiscovered for many years. This led them to become careless, expanding their territory farther and farther. When Sunny was born, the pack was thriving. There was plenty of prey and water. Sunny grew up with her siblings and cousins and they lived knowing no conflicts. There was always food ready for them after playtime and a warm nest for them to sleep at night. They had dedicated parents and a loving pack and everything was wonderful.
When Sunny was about a year and a half, the pack was discovered. It was never known if it was the Rag’s or assassins. It happened too quick. Their den was ambushed in the middle of the night. All Sunny remembers is dogs screaming and everyone running around in a panic. Her parents told her to run and so she did. She ran and ran, never stopping even when she lost sight of her siblings. Though she didn’t look back, she could feel someone at her heels. But after a while, the presence disappeared. She still ran, stopping only when she tripped on a risen tree root. The fall knocked her out. In the morning, she found herself alone. It was the first time she’d ever been on her own and she didn’t know what to do. She wanted to go back home, but she was afraid. All she can do now is wander and hope to find someone that can help her.
